- Assessment under sloshing and impact pressures is now performed also in partially filled ballast tanks if relevant (ref: BV RULES – PtB Ch5 S6 2)
- Assessment under impact pressures in upright conditions of tank tops in way of transverse
bulkheads is now performed if relevant (ref: BV RULES – PtB Ch5 S6 2.5.1)
- The tiers distribution for coefficient j1 for (sea) pressures on exposed decks has been modified as follow (ref: BV RULES – PtB Ch5 S5 1.2.1 & T2)
- Tier height has been taken to 2.3 m- Coefficient j1 is now valid for the full height of the tier- Double skin transverse bulkheads are now assessed under flooding as soon as only one of the compartment afterward or forward is not loaded or contains bulk loading: before compartments on both sides had to be empty
